Maui Jim, like the name implies, is a Hawaiian company that specializes in sunglasses, both prescription and non-prescription. The company was started by Bill Capps, who came up with the idea of a high end line of performance sunglasses while vacationing in Maui. He named the company after the location, and set about hiring the designers and distributors needed to make his dream and reality.
Each pair of Maui Jim sunglasses is classic, meaning that it will not go out of style quickly – you will be able to wear them year after year (although you may be tempted to buy a new style every season, just to have it on hand.)
