The 2013 Police sun collection pairs the brand’s most iconic elements with new design features. The shapes represent vintage modernity to perfection, emphasised by the use of shading, transparency and trendy pop art colours. And indeed, colour is one of the key elements of the new collection, both for the frames, available in acetate and ultra-light aluminium, and for the lenses, which come shaded and in various fashionable hues. The Police logo, reinterpreted with panache and available as a gothic-style trim applied on metal inserts or as the iconic winged P, becomes an integral design element of some of the collection’s top-of-the-range frames.
